Our professional mailing list contains technical information for those working on accessibility and technology development and testing. (We also have a public mailing list for consumers.)
Individual Professional Member
Open to individual persons working on accessibility and technology (gig workers, freelancers, independent contractors, retirees, etc.)
Benefits are Prior Level Plus:
Vote on standards adoption, and other member matters
Access to prototypes during development
Pose questions to standards development committees
Attend quarterly meetings on standards development
Stand for election to Board of Directors and Development Oversight Committee
Attend AGM and other Paid Members Only Meetings
Name in members’ directory
Note
Persons employed by, owner of, or director of any company working on anything relating to accessiblity and technology may not apply for Individual Membership. (Other membership options are available to individuals.)
Organizational Member
Open to organizations working on anything relating to accessibility and technology (e.g., as a testing company, customer, vendor). Can be for-profit, non-profit, academia, or government department.
Benefits are Prior Level Plus:
Any employee, owner or director can attend meetings on behalf of the organization (some meetings limit number of participants)
Organizational listing with logo and description in members’ directory
Can upgrade to Strategic Partner Organizational Member at any time (fee applies)
Note
Each member organization that is a registered business entity receives one vote in matters before the membership, including standards adoption.
Strategic Partner Organizational Member
Also open to organizations working on anything relating to accessibility and technology. Strategic partners play a consultation role to help guide standards development, and get the first look at proposed standards.
Benefits are Prior Level Plus:
Seat on the Council of Strategic Partners, consulting with and advising standards developers
Attend intra-quarterly standards development consultation meetings
Get first access to reporting standard prototypes during development
Provide links to your own related content (media, resource websites, apps, etc.) on our website

Rates are based on organization type and annual revenue:
For-Profit Companies: $1,000 to $10,000 (increments of $1000 per additional $1M annual revenue)
Non-Profits and Academia: $500 to $5,000 (increments of $500 per $1M annual revenue)
Government Departments: $10,000
