I work as the Senior Accessibility Lead at Renfro Consulting, Inc. and strive to help companies become more accessible with a primary expertise in standards and technical regulations. I began as a teacher helping students with disabilities to use technology to thrive in my classroom, eventually helping write Lesson Plans and Modifications for Inclusion and Collaborative Classrooms. I have various certificates and credentials in our world of accessibility, and I am a DHS Trusted Tester v. 3-5.
My current interest is centered around interoperability and our ever-increasing connected world. I do feel that accessibility testing does good to help make the world a more accessible place. Communicating effectively and training so that developers understand the why and how is also a passion of mine. I have a lot of experience with hardware testing as well.
Serving as an SDSP Member to assist in all strategic planning for the SAR. I hope to voice both expertise in technical matters as well and promote and align the organization for the betterment of the whole of accessibility. I also strive to assist all efforts where clarity can be brought to our industry.
